Your stay in France

You’ll probably arrive at Nice International Airport where you’ll be met in the arrivals hall by either your host family or a member of French Riviera High School.

Saint-Raphaël is only a 40 minute drive away so you’ll be there in no time.

Depending on your arrival time your host family might take you for a tour of Saint-Raphaël. You’ll also have time to relax and get settled. It’s an exciting time but we know it can also be a bit daunting. Don’t be shy to ask your host family for help if you need it. 

Your host family will take you to school on your first day and a member of French Riviera High School will be there to meet you and make sure everything is ok.

You’ll get your timetable, meet your new classmates and discover your new surroundings. It’s a big day!

We’re a family-run business so you’ll have direct contact with the owners, Gemma and Christophe. They’ll be in regular contact with you to make sure you are happy in your host family and at school.

You can contact them at any time if you have a problem or a question. If you are ill they’ll accompany you to the doctors.

Either Gemma or Christophe will attend parents’ evening to see how you’re getting on at school and give feedback to your parents back home. 

Before you know it you’ll be living the life of a French teenager!

Saint-Raphaël is a fantastic place to attend high school and experience French culture. You’ll make lots of friends at your high school and your French will improve quickly.
At the weekend you can meet up with your friends and make the most of your time on the French Riviera.

Local teenagers like going to the beach, shopping in town, going to the cinema, hanging out around a friend’s pool and there are lots of clubs and sports teams you can join if you like (water sports, mountain-biking, tennis, volleyball…). You’ll also be able to discover other towns that are nearby like Saint-Tropez, Nice, Cannes and Monaco.
